WARM HEART, STEADY FEET

PARTICIPANT WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

November 6–8, 2026 | Sonoita, Arizona

I voluntarily choose to participate in the Warm Heart, Steady Feet Retreat, including yoga, stretching and other movement practices, walking and outdoor activities, art activities, and related retreat programming.

I understand that these activities involve ordinary and inherent risks, including the possibility of muscle strains, sprains, falls, physical discomfort, or other injury. Outdoor activities may also involve uneven ground, weather conditions, insects, vegetation, and other natural conditions.

I understand that I am responsible for participating within my own abilities and comfort level. I may modify, stop, or decline any activity at any time. I understand that yoga and other retreat activities are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and I am responsible for determining whether I am physically able to participate.

Assumption of Risk and Release

I knowingly and voluntarily assume the risks associated with my participation in the retreat.

In consideration of being permitted to participate, I release and agree to hold harmless Joyce Arditti (professionally known as Jade Arditti), as retreat organizer and yoga instructor, from claims for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from the ordinary and inherent risks of my voluntary participation in retreat activities, to the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law.

I understand that this release does not apply to conduct or liability that cannot legally be waived.

Personal Responsibility and Emergency Care

I agree to inform the retreat organizer of any significant physical limitation, medical concern, food allergy, or dietary restriction that may affect my participation.

If I become ill or injured and am unable to make decisions for myself, I authorize the retreat organizer to contact emergency medical services and my emergency contact. I understand that I am responsible for any resulting medical or transportation expenses.
