Sometimes I’ll start with acrylics, and layer on oil paints for vibrancy, depth and texture. I’m quite partial to teal, coral and copper tones.

I might pick up inspiration from a friend’s pot of flowers, my backyard, or a trip out west.  I am particularly fond of Colorado and Arizona.
